Pastor for Worship and Senior Adults...Tom Baynham

Tom is in his 25th year of local church ministry.  He has served churches in Newport News, Hampton and in the Richmond area.  He is a 1982 graduate of Bluefield College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and Music.  He is also a 1985 graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY with a Master of Arts in Christian Education and Church Music.  Tom has also studied in the Master of Divinity programs of both the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. and the Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA.  He has done additional study as part of the Integrity Music Worship PhD program through Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

Tom is a native of Richmond where he grew up in Sixth Mt. Zion Baptist Church and the First Baptist Church of Richmond.  He is a member of the Virginia Baptist Male Chorale and the Virginia Baptist Music Educators' Association. 

Tom and his wife, Brenda have three children.  Jonathon is an Environmental Engineer in Denver, CO, Daniel is a Senior at the University of Mary Washington and Lindsey is a Junior at Randolph-Macon College.
